Network Administrator
(Data and Voice)



Responsibilities:




· Responsible for the installation, administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization of company’s data and voice network devices, Cisco routers and switches, and VoIP gateways to achieve high performance of the various business applications.

· Assist in overseeing the physical security, integrity, and safety of the data center/server farm. Installs new software releases, network firmware, system/network upgrades.
Performs network backup and recovery according to procedure.

· Coordinate with local and overseas carriers in circuit provisioning, acceptance, testing and fault reporting.

· Provide first tier voice support services, including handling inquiries, reporting, fault isolation and solving technical problems and logging tickets with solutions, etc.

· Monitors the network performance, capacity and connectivity using Nagios, MRTG, and Syslog.

· Provides daily and weekly reports to superiors.

· Performs other job-related duties that may be assigned by superior from time to time and attend shift duties.



Requirements:




· Holder of Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

· Basic Cisco router and Catalyst switch configuration. Knowledge in Cisco VPN / NAT / ACL / VLAN / leased line and IPLC installation and troubleshooting.

· Knowledge in using Network Monitoring System (Nagios, MRTG, Syslog).

· CISCO Networking Certification, basic hands-on experience, carrier voice support experience, and VoIP knowledge is an advantage.

· Team player, honest, has initiative, proactive, good customer service orientation, good communication and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, independent and willingness to learn.

· Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in the same industry.

· Applicants must be willing to work on a 24/7 environment in Ortigas, Pasig City.
